Dhiraagu posts MVR 218m net profit in Q1 2023

Dhiraagu on Sunday reported a net profit of MVR 218 million in the first quarter of the year.
Dhiraagu, in its financial report for the first quarter of 2023, noted that the company's profit of MVR 218 million in the first three months of the year was 2.3% higher than the same period last year.
The company had posted a revenue of MVR 653 million in the January-March quarter, which is 6% lower than the corresponding quarter of last year. Dhiraagu attributed the decline in revenue to the suspension of Dhiraagu TV service.
