A loan scheme has been introduced to provide concessional loans to Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) in Fuvahmulah.
The micro finance scheme was launched at a ceremony held at the council on Monday. Loans of up to MVR 50,000 will be sanctioned under the scheme.
The purpose of the scheme is to expand the number of SMEs in the city and to facilitate the opportunity for those who wish to start businesses.

Applications for the scheme can be submitted by 12pm on July 27.
