
BML posts MVR 552m profit in Q2 2023
The bank had posted a net profit of MVR 354 million in the second quarter of the previous year.
Bank of Maldives (BML) on Sunday reported a net profit of MVR 552 million for the second quarter of the year against MVR 552 million in the year-ago period.
According to the bank's financial report for the second quarter, it earned MVR 1.06 billion in revenue in the second while its revenue was at MVR 1.1 billion in the first quarter of the year. The bank's revenue in the second quarter of 2022 was at MVR 915 million.
The bank posted a net profit of MVR 552 million in the previous quarter as against MVR 504 million in the year-ago period. The bank had posted a net profit of MVR 354 million in the second quarter of the previous year.
