The first tourist to arrive this year was Benjamin Duncan Moore from the UK.
He was welcomed at the Velana International Airport by tourism minister Ibrahim Faisal, as well as officials from the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), Immigration and Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL).
