'Taxi seats white, blood will stain’
Although the man did not help, another taxi that passed by at the time did, regardless of the child's condition.

At around 12 am, as she was trying to park her motorcycle at her Hiyaa flat parking, a loud thud made Aishath Nuzuha stop what she was doing and walk out onto the street. At that moment, she caught sight of a boy who had fallen near the Hiyaa flat and had been blackened with blood.
Nuzuha stood speechless and stared at the horrific scene in front of her. She saw the movements of several people on scene who were trying to help the child. They were looking for a way to help the little boy who had fallen from the 12th floor of the flat, sustained a massive head injury and was bleeding heavily.
"There was a taxi waiting there at the time. The people there asked the taxi to take the child to the hospital because the ambulance would be late," she said.
"But the driver said his seats were white. They would get bloody and dirty”.
Outraged by the driver's answer, the people on scene shouted at him. He didn't pay much attention to the angry crowd and just left. The child lay bleeding.
"He was a very stuck up driver. He left without helping the child," Nuzuha said.
Although the man did not help, another taxi that passed by at the time did, regardless of the child's condition. The child was taken to the Hulhumale Hospital in the taxi.
Nuzuha had been struck motionless with the shock of what she had seen, but she was most surprised about the taxi driver that had refused to aid a dying boy, because his car seats would get dirty, of all the reasons.
“He did not posses a shred of humanity,” Nuzuha said.
