Healthcare transformation looks promising, CEO says
Haleem expressed optimism about the promising future that lies ahead for the nation’s healthcare system.
The health sector in the country is on the brink of a transformative era, according to Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem, the Chief Executive Officer of the Male' City Group of Hospitals.
Speaking at the opening ceremony marking Hulhumale’ Hospital’s elevation to a tertiary-level institution Saturday, Haleem expressed optimism about the promising future that lies ahead for the nation’s healthcare system.
Haleem emphasized that the recent advancements in hospital development represent more than just infrastructural growth; they symbolize new hopes and aspirations for improving people’s lives.
“This progress is a direct reflection of President Mohamed Muizzu’s policy to ensure the delivery of quality health services,” he noted.
Pledging full cooperation, Haleem assured the President of his unwavering support in achieving these healthcare goals.
“I am confident as someone in charge of running these hospitals that a new page has started today. Tomorrow will be coming with a greener future,” Haleem said, underscoring the sense of renewed commitment and momentum within the sector.
President Muizzu has set his sights on elevating healthcare services and initiating significant reform in a sector that, until now, has not received the attention it deserved. Haleem pointed out that the President’s strategic actions, including the allocation of management budgets and the enhancement of staffing levels, have laid the groundwork for these improvements.
“This is a huge improvement in expanding our services and improving the quality,” Haleem stated, reflecting on the tangible outcomes of these efforts.
