President Mohamed Muizzu on Sunday appointed two members to the Anti-Corruption Commission of Maldives.
The two members appointed by the President are Ahmed Nashid and Abdulla Nashid.
Ahmed Nashid previously served as a member of the Police Board and a former Assistant Commissioner of Police.
Abdulla Nashid holds a Master of Education (School Management) from the Regional Institute of Education of India. He has also served as manager of various departments of Aasandha Company.
The newly appointed members took their oath as members of the Anti-Corruption Commission in the presence of Supreme Court Justice Hon Uz Mahaz Ali Zahir.
The president handed over the letter of appointment to the anti-corruption commission.
