President Mohamed Muizzu on Sunday appointed two members to the Elections Commission of Maldives (ECM).

The two members appointed by the president to the Elections Commission are Mohamed Zahid and Abdul Rahman Salah Rasheed.

Prior to issuing the letter of appointment, the oath of office was administered to Mohamed Zahid and Abdul Rahman Salah Rasheed by the Supreme Court Justice Mahaz Ali Zahir at a ceremony held at the President's Office.
