The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has launched a search for an Indian national who fell into the sea from a cargo ship near Villimale.
According to the MNDF, the man went overboard from the Indian cargo vessel MS Daula at around 11:35 pm on Monday.

The MNDF Male’ Area Command Coast Guard Second Squadron is conducting the search, which is being carried out both at sea and from the air.
As of Tuesday, the missing man had not been located.
