A man was injured in a violent attack near Imhotep after being stabbed with a hammer by two assailants on a motorcycle.

A man was injured in a violent attack near Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) after being stabbed with a hammer by two assailants on a motorcycle.
According to police, the attack took place at 8:41 pm Tuesday.
The victim, a Maldivian man, sustained injuries and was immediately taken to IGMH for treatment. However, authorities have not disclosed details regarding the severity of his injuries.
Law enforcement officials have launched an investigation into the incident, but no arrests have been reported so far.
In a separate incident Tuesday afternoon, a fight broke out inside the kitchen of a café in Male, resulting in serious injuries to two foreign nationals. One of the victims is in critical condition and is receiving treatment at the hospital.
