The Ministry of Construction and Infrastructure has signed agreements worth MVR 121.3 million with Fenaka Corporation to complete water and sewerage projects in three islands.
The agreement, signed on Thursday, covers projects in Shaviyani Atoll Maaungoodhoo, Narudhoo, and Noonu Atoll Lhohi.

Under these agreements, each island’s project is expected to be completed within 540 days.
The total contract value is divided as follows:

Sh. Maaungoodhoo – MVR 46.7 million

Sh. Narudhoo – MVR 36.8 million

N. Lhohi – MVR 37.8 million
These projects aim to improve essential infrastructure in the islands, ensuring residents have access to safe and reliable water and sewerage systems.
This initiative is part of the government’s broader commitment to enhancing public utilities in islands across the Maldives. With the completion of these projects, residents of Maaungoodhoo, Narudhoo, and Lhohi will have significantly improved water and sanitation facilities, addressing long-standing concerns in these communities.
Fenaka Corporation, a state-owned utility company, has been entrusted with the task of ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
