
SOEs sign pacts to construct health facilities in 10 Islands for MVR 758m
The three companies have previously signed contracts for the construction of health facility buildings in nine other islands.
Three state-owned companies have signed agreements to construct health facilities in 10 islands at a total cost of MVR 758 million.
The contracts were awarded at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Health on Friday.
The companies awarded the projects are:

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC)

Road Development Corporation (RDC)

Fenaka Corporation
Projects Awarded to RDC
RDC has been contracted for the following projects:

N. Velidhoo Hospital – MVR 108 million, completion within 540 days

ADh. Fenfushi Health Centre – MVR 26 million, completion within 540 days
State Minister Ismail Abdulla signed the agreements on behalf of the Ministry of Health, while Managing Director Ali Zuhair signed on behalf of RDC.
Projects Awarded to Fenaka
Fenaka has been contracted to construct health service centres in three islands:

B. Kudarikilu Health Centre – MVR 7.6 million, completion within one year

GA. Konde Health Centre – MVR 6.7 million, completion within 300 days
-
GDh. Nadella Health Centre – MVR 6.7 million, completion within 300 days
State Minister Ismail Abdulla signed the agreements on behalf of the Ministry of Health, while Managing Director Mohamed Najjah signed on behalf of Fenaka.
Projects Awarded to MTCC
MTCC has been contracted for the construction of new buildings for health facilities in five islands:

HDh. Nellaidhoo Health Centre – MVR 11 million, completion within 450 days

Sh. Milandhoo Hospital – MVR 110.8 million, completion within 600 days

K. Thulusdhoo Hospital – MVR 110.7 million, completion within 600 days

AA. Rasdhoo Hospital – MVR 185.5 million, completion within 780 days
-
GA. Villingili Hospital – MVR 185.5 million, completion within 780 days
State Minister Ismail Abdulla signed the agreements on behalf of the Ministry of Health, while Managing Director Ahmed Saudy signed on behalf of MTCC.
The three companies have previously signed contracts for the construction of health facility buildings in nine other islands.
