Investigators from the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), accompanied by police officers, entered the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Welfare Sunday as part of an ongoing investigation.
The ministry’s office is located on the seventh floor of the Velaanaage office complex in Malé.
When contacted, the Maldives Police Service confirmed that the presence of officers at the ministry was related to an investigation initiated by the ACC. A media officer for the police stated that further information could not be disclosed, as the investigation falls under the jurisdiction of the ACC.
