
MNDF participates in Eid al-Adha activities across Malé
The Eid evening activities, coordinated by the MNDF Malé Area Command, are scheduled to continue for the next two days.

The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) participated in a series of public engagement activities on the evening of Eid al-Adha under the banner of "Eid Haveeru 1446".
The events were organised jointly by several government agencies and state-owned enterprises. Activities were held at various locations across Malé, including Sultan Park, the Martyrs' Building area, Republic Square, Hulhumale Central Park, and the Hiyaa Flat area.
Multiple branches of the MNDF took part in the event. Members of the public were given access to MNDF Coast Guard and Fire and Rescue Service vessels, with opportunities to board the vessels and take photographs. Attendees could also ride in small rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) used by the Coast Guard.
The MNDF Malé Area Command conducted obstacle course activities and facilitated experiences on a rappelling tower. Cultural programmes were presented by the Arts and Ceremonial Service of the MNDF Adjutant General’s Corps.
Combat equipment, vehicles, and weapons used by the Marine Corps and Ordnance Service were displayed, and children were allowed to view and take photos with the items. Ghillie suits and photo opportunities with snipers were also featured.
