The Ministry of Housing has commenced issuing new registration documents for land recipients from Gulhifalhu under the Binveriya scheme, following changes to the land use plan.
The ministry stated that the registration process is being carried out at the location previously used by the ministry for construction-related activities. This follows the reallocation of land plots through a draw held in May, after the land use plan for Gulhifalhu was amended twice during the current administration.
As a result of the changes, previously issued land registration documents and agreements have been cancelled. However, the ministry clarified that it has opted not to void the original agreements entirely but to amend them with updated information, including revised lot numbers.
