Police recover $20,000 stolen from expatriate site in Hulhumalé
Police said the items were discovered hidden among trees and have since been returned to the owner.

Police have recovered USD 20,000 and other stolen items taken from an expatriate residence in Hulhumalé Phase 3.
According to police, the theft occurred at around 2:40 p.m. last Friday, when a bag containing the cash and several other items was stolen from the residence.

The stolen belongings were later found during a police patrol in Hulhumalé Phase 2. Police said the items were discovered hidden among trees and have since been returned to the owner.
No arrests have been made so far, and the case remains under investigation, police confirmed.
