MVR 30,000 raised to help women in distress in Pakistan
The money is being donated to provide sanitary supplies, medicines and food to women in distress in Pakistan.

A fund-raising event showcasing the culture of Pakistan was held in the Maldives to help Pakistani women affected by the floods, and the event has sanctioned MVR 30,000.
Transport minister Aishath Nahula inaugurated the event organised by the non-governmental organisation, Bridging the Communities Maldives (BCM) on Tuesday night. The event collected funda via sold tickets.
Millions of people have been affected by heavy rains in Pakistan from June to October. Thus:

To help Pakistan, the 'Pakistan Maldives Friendship Association' (PMFA) conducted a telethon and raised more than MVR 3.8 million.
