The registration and agreement process for land allocated in Hulhumalé Phase 3 under the revised land use plan began on Monday.

The Ministry of Housing said the land use plan for the third phase of Hulhumalé has been amended and a new plan prepared. Last month, a draw was held to assign new plot numbers to those who had already been allocated land in the area.

In a statement issued on Monday, the ministry said the previously issued land registries will be cancelled and replaced with new registries under the revised plan.

Those who have not yet signed the land agreement or submitted their land registry will be given an additional opportunity due to the changes to the land use plan.

According to the ministry:

Requests for appointments to submit land registries will be accepted through the Hiyaavehin portal until 14 March.

Requests for appointments by those who have not yet signed the agreement will be accepted until 15 March.

Appointments must be requested through the Hiyaavehin portal. After an appointment is requested, the applicant will be notified by SMS of the date, time and location for submission of the land registry and agreement.

The ministry said that if an applicant does not attend at the scheduled time, the appointment will be cancelled.
