ADK Hospital awards contract for new 13-storey building
According to ADK Hospital, the new building will increase hospital space and support the expansion of facilities and services.
Fourth phase of the ADK Hospital expansion project have commenced, with a contract awarded for the construction of an additional 13-storey building.
The project has been awarded to Rotime Engineering and Technology at a ceremony held on Wednesday. The company has previously undertaken healthcare-related construction projects.
According to ADK Hospital, the new building will increase hospital space and support the expansion of facilities and services. The development forms part of the hospital’s policy to provide health services in the Maldives.
The ADK Hospital development project was announced in 2013. Since then, the hospital has undergone structural changes in several phases, including the addition of new facilities and the expansion of services.
Last year, ADK Hospital offered a MVR 120 million bond to raise funds for the construction of a new building as part of its service expansion plan.
