India's Gautam among injured in Maldives boat capsize
Reports said Singhania was among those injured and has travelled to Mumbai for further treatment.
An Indian national, Gautam Singhania, Managing Director of Raymond Group, was injured after a speedboat capsized near V. Keyodhoo on Friday.
The incident occurred early in the morning, about two nautical miles southwest of Keyodhoo. The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has launched a search and rescue operation for two individuals reported missing.
According to reports, seven people were on board the vessel, including five Indian nationals, one British national and one Russian national.
Reports said Singhania was among those injured and has travelled to Mumbai for further treatment.
Authorities confirmed that the two missing individuals are Indian nationals.
The MNDF said search efforts are continuing by sea and air, with divers deployed as part of the operation.
