The Maldivian Democratic Party has opened a complaints window regarding revisions made to the voters’ list for its upcoming chairperson election.
According to an announcement issued by the party on Sunday, the complaint process applies to changes made following the initial review of complaints and the re-registration process.
The party has allocated a two-day period for members to submit grievances.
Under the guidelines announced by the MDP:

Complaints must be submitted before 2:00 PM on Wednesday, 27 May

Submissions must be made through a designated Google Form

Only complaints relating to revisions made in the updated list will be accepted

New complaints that were not raised during the earlier process will not be considered
The election for the party’s chairperson position will be contested between former President Mohamed Nasheed and Mikaeel Ahmed Naseem.
The election is scheduled to take place on 12 June.
