Deadline for flat applications nears as rules revised
The Housing Ministry has continued to change requirements set for flats and land under the programme.
With less than three weeks remaining before the deadline, the terms of the family housing programme are being revised, Housing Minister Dr Abdulla Muththalib said Sunday.
The Housing Ministry opened applications for land and flats on 18 January.
The deadline for occupation of flats has been extended to 30 April. The Ministry is now revising requirements under the Persons with Disabilities category of the Family Housing Programme.
In a post on X, Muththalib said the Ministry has revised requirements under the disabled category and opened applications for separate flats. He added that the rule is being amended to allow persons with disabilities or their dependants to apply.
