The deadline for applications for the MV+ Community Impact Awards 2026 has been extended to May 15, providing more time for NGOs, businesses, and individuals to submit their applications for the expanded awards programme.
MV+ opened the applications for the MV+ Community Impact Awards 2026 in September 2025, with the previous deadline set for March 31. However, to provide more time for NGOs, businesses, and individuals to submit applications to their dedicated category from our newly expanded award categories, MV+ has extended the deadline date to May 15.
The fourth edition of the biennial event, scheduled to be held in November, has, until now, exclusively recognised NGOs. This year, for the first time, businesses and individuals are also eligible to apply. The 2026 Awards will also serve as a fundraiser, with proceeds going directly to the NGOs winning the award.
The MV+ Community Impact Awards & Fundraiser 2026 will feature three major categories: Outstanding NGOs, Corporate Changemakers, and the Lifetime Impact Award.
Outstanding NGOs
This category is exclusively reserved for health-related campaigns or initiatives organised by NGOs in the Maldives. Areas of focus include cancer prevention, awareness, or treatment support; NCD prevention and management; community health education; and patient or caregiver support.
