A motorcyclist was injured in a traffic accident involving an oil bowser on Thursday night in Hulhumalé.
According to the Maldives Police Service, the accident occurred at approximately 10:21 PM on Nirolhu Magu near Haththari Mart.
Police said a 30-year-old Maldivian man sustained injuries in the collision and was taken to Hulhumalé Hospital for treatment.
Following the incident, authorities closed a section of Nirolhu Magu while emergency response and investigative work continued at the scene.
Police have not yet released further details regarding the circumstances of the accident.
The case remains under investigation.
