9am-4.30pm set as daytime hours for cargo transport in Ramadan
Between 4.30 pm and 8 pm, no goods of any kind will be allowed to be transported on any type of vehicle on commercial basis.

Transport ministry on Monday issued an order stating that on the first seven days of the month of Shawwal as well as the whole month of Ramadan, land transport of goods on a commercial basis will be allowed in the Male area from 9am to 4:30pm.
All types of goods will be allowed to be transported from 9am to 4.30pm and from 8pm to 6am on those days, the transport ministry said in a notification.
The notification says:

Between 4.30pm and 8pm, no goods of any kind will be allowed to be transported on any type of vehicle on commercial basis
The ministry has also fixed the timings for cargo vehicles to access the Sinamale Bridge:

All categories of cargo vehicles can cross the bridge from 9am to 4pm and from 1am to 6 m

During those hours, vehicles will be able to reach the bridge from the southern side of Male via Boduthakurufaanu road; it is prohibited to carry goods over the bridge during other times

Water and cooking gas can be transported on the bridge from 9am to 4pm and from 8 pm to 6 am; they will not be able to carry them over the bridge during other hours
The transport authorities said that if the directive is violated, a fine of MVR 750 will be levied.
