Four people arrested in connection with the clashes that took place during the campaign rally of MDP presidential candidate, President Ibrahim Mohammed Solih, on Sunday evening have been released.
When the president arrived in the island on Sunday afternoon, supporters of the opposition parties protested.

Two people arrested from the protest were released Sunday evening
Again, during the MDP rally that evening, the opposition parties gathered, and clashes broke out between police and the crowd. A restaurant in the area was damaged in the clashes and four people were arrested.

Two of the four people arrested during the clashes were released without being taken to court

The remaining two were taken to the Fuvahmulah court on Monday for their remand hearing

The court released them after giving them advice
Some policemen and civilians were injured in the clashes and were treated at the island hospital.
