Former President Mohamed Nasheed who had announced an extended from politics recently, has made Ghana his home for the next few years.
Nasheed on Tuesday announced on social media that he has moved to Accra, Ghana.
According to his post on X:

He relocated to Accra to serve as the Secretary-General of the Climate Vulnerable Forum (CVF)

CVF’s secretariat is hosted in Ghana

He will live there for years
Nasheed, who was also the former Speaker of the Parliament, announced that he was taking a break from politics last month.
One of the reasons for this is him accepting the post of Secretary General for the CVF. He will take up the post from this month, he said.
