A man has been kidnapped and robbed by a group in the capital city Male.
Police arrested a 26-year-old man on Monday and produced him before the Criminal Court on Tuesday for his remand.
According to the court order of the man, who is from Male, he along with others forcibly took a person to a house and held him. Thereafter, he was beaten up and other crimes were committed, the police said during the closed-door hearing.
The charges against him are:
-

The court order shows that the police have produced enough evidence to level the allegations.
