Maldives warns against spike in 'China White' drug
There has been a rise of fatalities from using China White in various countries around the world.

The Ministry of Home Affairs on Thursday said it has initiated measures in the country in view of the increase in production and circulation of 'Fentanyl-Laced Drugs', or 'China White', a form of heroin originating in southeastern Asia, in the global market.
The Home Ministry issued a public safety alert on Thursday describing the dangers of this type of drug.

"The Ministry of Homeland Security and Technology, the National Drug Agency and all relevant institutions are working together to take necessary measures," the Home Ministry said in a statement.
There has been a rise of fatalities from using China White in various countries around the world.
Recently, a couple of people have been found dead in Maldives with unknown causes. However, it has not been confirmed whether it is related to the use of the opioid.
