President Mohammed Muizzu appointed ambassadors to three countries on Wednesday.
They were appointed at a ceremony held at the President's Office.
The ambassadors appointed are:

Shiuneen Rasheed as Ambassador to Bangladesh

Lt. Gen. (retd) Abdul Raheem Abdul Latheef has been appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Maldives to Turkey

Mohammad Thoha as Ambassador to Pakistan
