Six new ambassadors to Maldives presented their credentials to President Mohammed Muizzu on Monday.
The six presented their credentials at separate ceremonies held at the President’s Office on Monday morning. The President arrived in full royal regalia, accompanied by the army, with drums and fanfare, as is tradition.
The ambassadors who presented their credentials on Monday are:

Steluta Arhire, the new Romanian Ambassador to Maldives. The Romanian Ambassador is a non-resident ambassador to Maldives. She will be living in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Political relations between Maldives and Romania were established on 1 November 1979

Zambia's new Ambassador to Maldives, Percy P. Chanda. The Ambassador of Zambia is a non-resident ambassador to Maldives. The Zambian Ambassador will be living in New Delhi, India. Maldives and Zambia established political relations on 1 April 2018

Turkey's new Ambassador to Maldives Semih Lutfu Turgut. Political relations between Turkey and Maldives were established on 28 May 1979. The Turkish Ambassador will be a non-resident ambassador living in Colombo, Sri Lanka

Jordan's new ambassador to Maldives Maen Khreasat. Political relations between Maldives and Jordan were established on 25 March. He will be a non-resident ambassador living in Islamabad, Pakistan

Thailand's new Ambassador to Maldives Paitoon Mahapannaporn. Political relations between Maldives and Thailand were established on 21 June1979. The Thai Ambassador will be the non-resident ambassador living in Colombo, Sri Lanka

Korean Ambassador to Maldives Miyon Lee. Political relations between Maldives and Korea were established on 30 November She will be a non-resident ambassador living in Colombo, Sri Lanka
