Eight foreigners have been arrested for illegally running takeaway coffee shops in Hulhumale Phase I.
In an X post Immigration said on Saturday that they were arrested in a special raid operation conducted by police and Immigration on Friday evening.
The nationalities of the arrested foreigners were not disclosed. Immigration added that they are being questioned and investigated.

Two illegal immigrants were arrested on Wednesday last week. These two Bangladeshis were arrested near the dollar ATM. They were selling dollars illegally at the BML Dollar ATM area near the Social Centre.
