A foreigner has been arrested for damaging an Immigration Services vehicle in an operation conducted by the authority to curb illegal trade being conducted by foreigners.
Immigration said on Saturday that three establishments were closed and seven people were arrested in an operation to stop illegal establishments. One of them was arrested after he angrily kicked the wheel of an Immigration vehicle.

"These individuals will be subject to the strictest action under the Immigration Act," the Immigration Department said in a post on social media on Saturday.
Eight foreigners were also arrested on the 6th of this month for running an illegal takeaway coffee shop in Hulhumale Phase I.
