Air Service World Congress announces travel industry partners

More than 150 delegates from different parts of the world are participating in the conference.

Maldives’ Travel Industry Partners of the Air Service World Congress, a high-level networking meeting between air travel businesses, have been announced.

The official events of the congress, which is scheduled to start on Tuesday, will be held at Kurumba Maldives Resort from 10 to 11 this month. More than 150 delegates from around the world will attend the conference. Additional events will be held at the Sheraton Maldives and Sai Lagoon at Cross Roads.

The travel industry partners of the congress, hosted by Velana International Airport, are:

  • Avia Maldives

  • Magiri Hotel

  • Skytours Maldives

  • Villa Travels

  • Maldives Flight Support

More than 150 delegates from different parts of the world are participating in the conference. These include:

  • Resort Partners: Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa and Sai Lagoon

  • Venue Partner: Kurumba Maldives

  • Digital Partner: Digicel

  • Seaplane Partner: Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA)

  • Airline Partner: Emirates Airline

  • Aviation Partner: Maldivian

  • Media partners: Island Chief, Travel Trade Maldives, Hotelier Maldives, The Arrival and Travel Media

The endorsement partners of the conference include the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Transport, Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI) and Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO).

According to MACL, final preparations are underway for the Air Service World Congress. The congress will be attended by representatives of airports, airlines and tourism boards from various sectors of the aviation industry across the globe.

The first Air Service World Congress event was held in 2010. This is the 7th time the congress is being held. With this Congress, many important venues will be facilitated for the country's aviation sector, MACL said.
