The first shipment of perishable food items imported from abroad has been delivered directly to the Hithadhoo port in Addu.
The ship, which came from Tuticorin, India, docked at the port of Hithadhoo early on Wednesday. The shipment contained perishable food items.
The shipment carried 150 tonnes of goods. Furthermore:
