3 Interpol red noticed Maldivians arrested at airport
They were wanted in connection with a fight in September last year.
Three people have been arrested at Velana International Airport (VIA) for allegedly using dangerous weapons.
They were wanted in connection with a fight in September last year.
The three were arrested under a court order when they arrived in Male from Thailand. Two people were arrested Thursday and one on Wednesday.
The three arrested are:

Mohamed Sibath Abdullah, 19

Mohamed Ahsam, 26

Aswan Mohamed, 28
The three men were deported from Thailand while on the run after Interpol issued a red notice for them.
Aswan Mohamed was released after being produced before the Criminal Court. The other two were ordered to remain in custody pending trial.
Police are investigating the incident.
