Under a new group, called Global Partners for Plastics Circularity, the industry has put mechanical and chemical recycling at the center of its position.

"Efforts are underway to ensure that these works are completed by July," the environment ministry said in a statement.

MOPA has been recycling plastic in the Male’ City, atolls and even resorts.
