A 46-year-old man has been found dead inside a bathroom of a house in Henveiru, Male’ City.

A 46-year-old man has been found dead inside a bathroom of a house in Henveiru, Male’, Wednesday night.
According to Maldives Police Service, the man was discovered in the toilet of a fourth-floor apartment. He has been identified as Abdullah Mufeed, 46, of G. Lanka.
Authorities have confirmed that police officers are active on the scene and investigations are underway.
The incident adds to a concerning trend of unexplained deaths in Male’. Earlier this year, six individuals were found dead under unclear circumstances. In most cases, authorities were only alerted after the person was already deceased.
Police have not revealed any further details about the cause of death at this time.
