Govt assigns uninhabited islands to local councils
Adam Shareef stated that the report on these allocations would be submitted to the President’s Office in the coming week.
Uninhabited islands have been allocated to three local councils under President Mohamed Muizzu's directive to assign such islands to councils that submit proposals.
Local Government Minister Adam Shareef announced the decision in a post on 'X' on Thursday. The allocations are:

R. Inguraidhoo Council: R. Neyo

L. Maavah Council: L. Bodumaabulhi
-
Dhaalu Atoll Council: Dh. Minimasgali and Dh. Fenfushi
Adam Shareef stated that the report on these allocations would be submitted to the President’s Office in the coming week. The work will be conducted in collaboration with the finance ministry.
