Fitr Zakat collections in first 20 days reach MVR 7.6 million
MVR 2.9 million was collected in the first 10 days, while MVR 4.7 million was collected in the following 10 days.
The Maldives Zakat House has collected MVR 7.6 million in Fitr Zakat during the first 20 days of Ramadan.
According to the institution, MVR 2.9 million was collected in the first 10 days, while MVR 4.7 million was collected in the following 10 days. This marks the highest amount collected in the past five years.
A comparison of Fitr Zakat collections in the first 20 days of Ramadan over the past five years is as follows:

The counters at the Islamic Centre auditorium will accept Fitr Zakat during the last 10 days of Ramadan from 23 to 30 March, between 11 am and 2 pm, except on Fridays and Saturdays.
Zakat will also be accepted at Iskandhar School daily from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm until the end of March.
In addition to physical collection points, payments can be made online through Bandeyri Pay, FahiPay, BML, MIB, Dhiraagu Pay, and Ooredoo.
