HDC board member Mohamed Waheed removed
The HDC board currently comprises ten members.
The Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) has removed Mohamed Waheed from the board of the Housing Development Corporation (HDC).
The decision was announced by the PCB Sunday. No reason was provided for the dismissal.
Waheed was appointed to the HDC board in December 2023. He has previously held positions at the Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) and the Ministry of Housing.
The HDC board currently comprises ten members.
The corporation has undergone changes in recent months, including the resignation of former Managing Director Fazul Rasheed in December. His resignation followed the exposure of a land-related case in Hulhumale.
