
Customs reports MVR 29 million hike in imports, exports in April
Exports in April stood at MVR 292 million, compared to MVR 204 million in March.

Imports and exports increased by MVR 29 million in April compared to the previous month, according to figures released by Maldives Customs Service on Saturday.
The revenue collected last month amounted to MVR 379 million, up from MVR 350 million in March.
Imports, including petroleum products, reached MVR 4.7 billion in April, an increase from MVR 4.4 billion in March. This reflects a rise of MVR 300 million.
Exports in April stood at MVR 292 million, compared to MVR 204 million in March. This marks an increase of MVR 88 million.
