Mohamed Shaamy Adam has been reappointed as Chairman of the Road Development Corporation (RDC), less than five months after his removal from the post.
RDC confirmed the appointment in a post shared on its official social media channels on Thursday, congratulating Shaamy on his return as chair.
Shaamy was previously removed from the position on 28 April, following a decision by the Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) as part of changes aimed at restructuring company boards. He was also removed from the board of the SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC) during the same period.
The leadership of RDC has seen other recent changes. Ahmed Zuhair, who had been serving as the company’s Managing Director, was transferred to Housing Development Corporation (HDC), while Ibrahim Nazim was appointed as Managing Director of RDC on 30 July.
