PCB reshuffles boards of several state companies
The latest appointments and removals follow a number of management and board-level changes made across state-owned enterprises in recent months.
The Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) on Wednesday announced a series of appointments and removals across the boards of several state-owned enterprises.
In a statement, the PCB said new directors had been appointed to fill vacancies on a number of company boards, while other members had been removed from their positions.
The newly appointed board members are:

Saadha Ibrahim (RS 14819), appointed as Chairperson and Board Director of the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company.

Ahmed Nasif of Riverside, S. Hulhudhoo, appointed as a Board Director of the Maldives Airports Company Limited.

Sheryna Solih of Welcomevilla, S. Hithadhoo, appointed as a Board Director of the Addu International Airport.
The PCB also announced the removal of the following board members:

Aishath Ali of M. Vaareyvilla, Malé, from the board of Visit Maldives Corporation.

Aminath Raisham from the board of Maldives Ports Limited.
The board changes take effect immediately.
The PCB is responsible for overseeing the governance and performance of state-owned enterprises and has the authority to appoint and remove board members of government-owned companies.
