Tourist arrivals to the Maldives increased by 30% at the end of last month compared to the same month last year.
According to the latest statistics released by the tourism ministry, a total of 178,159 tourists arrived in the Maldives this year as of Wednesday against 136,146 in the same period last year.

Tourists spend 8.1 days on average in Maldives

The country has 1,218 operational tourist facilities; 59,840 beds

According to the tourism ministry, 36 airlines currently operate international scheduled flights to the Maldives.
