Banks to open on June 26 during Eid holidays
With the weekend and the holidays, government offices will be closed for at least nine days for Eid al-Adha.

Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) announced on Tuesday that banking services will be provided on May 26, even though the country will observe May 25 to 29 as Eid-al-Adha holidays.
As per the notification, the authority will provide these services on May 26, from 8.30 am to 2 pm.

MMA said the banking services will continue to be provided on appointment basis as is now.
The Hajj Day falls on Tuesday, June 27. In addition, the government has declared June 25-26 as holidays. Therefore, with the weekend and the holidays, government offices will be closed for at least nine days.
