According to the latest figures released by the tourism ministry, 821,247 tourists arrived in the Maldives this year as of Saturday.
According to the statistics, India currently has the highest number of tourist arrivals to the Maldives. Russia, which was earlier at the top of the list, is now ranked second, followed by the UK with the third-highest number of tourist arrivals.

According to the ministry's statistics, an average of 5,512 tourists arrive in the country every day. Tourists spend an average of 7.8 days in the Maldives.
Maldives now has 1,243 tourist facilities with 60,816 beds in operation.
