MTCC awarded MVR 350m worth projects in 4 Haa Alif islands

MTCC has been awarded projects in five islands worth MVR 376 million, including those in four islands of the northernmost Haa Alif atoll worth MVR 350 million.
The signings on Monday come a day before President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's re-election campaign visit to Haa Alif and Haa Dhaal atolls.
The projects awarded to MTCC at a ceremony held at the planning ministry on Monday, include:

HA. Dhidhoo land reclamation - MVR 89 million; to be completed in a year

HA. Kelaa harbour dredging and outer sea wall - MVR 26 million; to be completed within eight months

HA. Thuraakunu land reclamation - MVR 164 million; to be completed in two years and four months

HA. Uligan harbour expansion and coastal protection: MVR 79 million; to be completed in one year and six months
