5 projects worth MVR 476m awarded to MTCC in a day

The planning ministry on Tuesday signed agreements with MTCC to implement projects in five islands on Tuesday.

AA. Ukulhas coastal protection - MVR 28 million (180 days)

Adh. Mahibadhoo land reclamation - MVR 43.6 million (240 days)

L. Maavah land reclamation - MVR 66.3 million (240 days)

Dh. Maaenboodhoo land reclamation - MVR 82.9 million (300 days)

Paving of inner roads in Fuvahmulah - MVR 255.2 million (730 days)
With the presidential election approaching, the government has been announcing new projects in different parts of Maldives. This scenario was also seen during the MDP presidential primary in January.
