The volume and value of goods imported last month declined as compared to the same month last year.
According to customs data released on Sunday, goods worth MVR 4 billion were imported into the Maldives last month. Goods worth MVR 5.2 billion were imported in June last year.
According to customs data, revenue from imports during the month was also lower than the same period last year.
